Do I even need to explain what Christmas is?

I don't but I will anyway. Because that's what this is all about! Rambling about random jargon I'm obsessed with!

Christmas (which can also be reffered to as Yule*) is a Christian* holiday to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ that falls on the 25th (or 24th) of the month of December all about coming together as a family, feasting, gift-giving, decorating your entire house 2 months in advance, a guitar hero bundle for the xbox 360 wrapped under your Christmas tree, and having an underwhelming kiss under the mistletoe.
A joyful and wonderful time of the year (if you don't work in an establishment with a speaker) that's become the most well known and celebrated holiday of all, sparking countless stories and movies and poems.

* Yule can be used to refer to the general Christmas season, and can also refer to the winter solstice. While you can use Yule and Christmas almost interchangeably, Yule/the winter solstice can still be a seperate holiday celebrated by some religious movements like modern germanic paganism.

* While the holiday has a Christian meaning, that's basically been phased out in favor of . being an excuse to throw parties with your family and eat a ton and decorate your house all nice. Which I partake in. Sorry jeezy boy but I just like hot chocolate
